Pathfield School Instrument of Government

1. The name of the school is PATHFIELD SCHOOL.
2. The school is a foundation school with a foundation.
3. The name of the governing board is "THE GOVERNING BOARD OF PATHFIELD SCHOOL".
4. The governing board shall consist of:
   • three parent governors;
   • one local authority governor;
   • one staff governor;
   • one headteacher;
   • two foundation governors; 
   • four co-opted governors.
5. Total number of governors is Ovelve.
6. All terms of office will be for four years with the exception of the Headteacher whose position is ex-officio and may remain as a governor so long as in post as Headteacher.
7. Foundation Governors will be appointed by the SENtient Trust.
8. This instrument of government comes into effect on 21 st May 2019.
9. This instrument was made by order of Devon Local Authority on 02 May 2019
