Welcome

from Headteacher, Stuart Allman

Pathfield School is a vibrant community where staff, parents and many other agencies work in partnership to ensure that every pupil receives the very best possible education and support.  The dedicated staff team recognise that communication is at the heart of all learning, and we develop individualised learning opportunities to maximise interaction. This is achieved through a stimulating environment, inspiring resources and a high level of staff training. We recognise that sometimes pupils may require additional support and we work closely with agencies such as Social Care, Physiotherapists and School Nurses to meet the needs of the whole individual.f extensive training and exposure to learning.

On behalf of the whole team, I would like to thank you for your continued support throughout the year. It has been wonderful to see the fantastic progress made across the school, alongside an ever-growing range of opportunities for our young people.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our incredible staff team for their dedication, hard work and commitment. It is the combined efforts of everyone that make the Pathfield community such a special place.

School will reopen for staff on Thursday 3rd September and for students on Monday 7th September.

10th July News Summary

Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a very busy and exciting week with lots happening across the school.

Members of the Pathways class enjoyed a fantastic residential visit to London. Everyone had a wonderful time, and it has been brilliant to see staff supporting and organising these valuable opportunities throughout the year.

Eco Week has been a great success, with a wide range of engaging activities promoting recycling, sustainability and environmental awareness. It has been inspiring to see students so involved and enthusiastic.

Our Bikeability sessions and surfing opportunities with the Wave Project have also provided pupils with the chance to develop a wide range of skills. It’s been lovely to see such positive engagement and enjoyment in these experiences.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who supported last week’s summer fair. Together we raised an amazing £1160 for the school PTFA. Most importantly, it was a joyful event filled with fun and laughter for all involved.

Thank you to our families, carers and staff who came along and supported our PTFA Summer Fayre on Saturday. Thanks to your incredible donations, including the support of local businesses, we raised an incredible £1160. Every penny will help fund additional resources and provide enriching experiences for our students. It was a lovely couple of hours, we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did. Thank you for being such an important part of our Pathfield Community.
